The Chicxulub Impactor

This is the one project I haven't done any first-order work on myself, but my background in both planetary science and paleontology gives me extra perspective on this topic. It's easier to explain the story to you via podcast rather than write it out, so please check out my perspectives on the story of the K-Pg extinction event. Dinosaurs, iridium, asteroids, and craters brought scientists from many different fields together to solve the mystery of what happened to the (non-avian) dinosaurs!

The podcast is one episode of the Space Pod series, run by Dr. Carrie Nugent, Assistant Professor of Computational Physics and Planetary Science Olin College of Engineering.
